As others have said I don’t know if this will be an issue. DL seems content to pay the bottom of the list 717FO pay to do nothing if this passes, and many other will probably do a paper recall to the lowest paying FO position and may or may not actually send those pilots to requall. I can’t see Training costs being a deciding factor as whether or not an airline takes the 💰

What about the dollars aircrew are gonna receive. Pretty stimulating if you ask me.

It might not be quite that simple, depending on the contract. Some seniors might bid for UNA or the equivalent, if they like the idea of less money but no worky. That could force the recalls back to training and the line.

UNA cannot be bid. There are monthly/yearly blank lines biddable but at 25/35 hours.

Another issue would be what percentage of airline stimulus is grants vs loans.

That’s a pretty myopic take. What about the $300/wk supplemental unemployment benefit? Does that not count?

Just because money isn’t going straight from the Treasury into bank accounts does not mean it’s not helping individuals.

135 million to Burma.
85.5 million to Cambodia
1.4 billion for “Asia Reassurance Initiative Act”
130 million to Nepal.

This is the **** we should be against. Trump should veto this immediately and call for a standalone bill for the American people.

Was that part of the $900B COVID package or the $1.4T Omnibus package that funds the government and was going to get passed anyways?

they were negotiated separately but combined into one bill... the $$$ for international cooperation was part of the omnibus bill.
