B u l l s h i t. They offer *some* benefit if worn around others while they wear theirs too. But the baby Americans didn't want anything to do with it.

Those who WON'T protect themselves can die and I really don't care.
Those who CAN'T. Kids who can't get vaccinated yet and folks with immunity problems like people getting chemo.
I stay masked for them.

Mike O. on the Biden counsel said as much. There were some scientist that even hypothesized non-95 masks made the spread of disease worse.

Except there isn’t a single localized area in the world that showed mask use didn’t anything:

Reduces the chances of a new variant? Are you completely insane?
The current variant of greatest concern is the delta variant WHICH STARTED IN INDIA.
India has a population of 1.366 BILLION people, of whom 3% have had one or more immunizations.
Unless we seal all borders (like THAT is gonna happen) the low immunization throughout the rest of the world is going to keep mutations happening that will come to the US regardless of what the immunization status is in the US. And there has only been one successful eradication of a human pathogenic virus in history - that was of smallpox, and it took 180 years after a vaccine was available and a decades long international effort.
Anyone who doesn’t think this is going to become endemic - just like the other four common human coronaviruses - is delusional.

I don’t see color but you are the one that thinks they are the problem for not getting vaxed. Don’t be a racist bigot!
