is the Alabama health department not telling the truth about 2 icu beds remaining? If they are telling the truth, why is that not a big deal?

A friend works for the Health Department in my state. 75% of the hospitalized Covid patients here are vaccinated.
When are we going to admit that the vaccine has failed? There. I said it. |

When are we going to admit that the vaccine has failed? There. I said it. IT WAS NEVER GOING TO DO ANYTHING BETTER THAN THAT. Those who told you it would either knowingly lied to you or were abysmally ignorant themselves. While we are on the subject, the delta variant was NOT caused by people selfishly not getting immunized. It came from India where about a billion and a quarter people have been UNABLE to get immunized. This is not EVER going to completely go away, we are going to have to live with it, like we do influenza, Epstein-Barr virus, Merkel Cell Polyoma Virus, the other four commonly circulating human coronaviruses, etc. PS: You also aren’t going to live forever regardless of how many diseases you do or do not get. |
I love how Sarah Nelson says the AFA is in full support of extending the mask mandate, meanwhile her members are being verbally and in some cases physically assaulted daily over the whole mask policing FAs are required to do.

this is not an attack, this is not negative, just trying to understand your rationale The topic was Texas governor testing positive for Covid-19. No, that’s not a big deal and shouldn’t even be news since he’s vaccinated. Positivity rates and cases shouldn’t even be news anymore with current vaccination rates. |

Alabama’s health issues are a result of vaccine hesitancy.

this is not an attack, this is not negative, just trying to understand your rationale Note - the term “net” is used because, for instance, one hospital may have a net negative of ICU beds because it had to move ICU patients to another area of the hospital while a hospital in another part of the state may have more available ICU beds. also note: As of Monday, 2,634 patients were being treated for COVID-19 in Alabama hospitals, including 40 pediatric patients, the association said. That figure is near the peak of 3,084 COVID-19 hospitalizations during January’s coronavirus surge. according to state Department of Public Health data. |
