Then on November 21, the WHO said media and ProMED — a public surveillance system — “reported clusters of undiagnosed pneumonia in children in northern China.” “It is unclear if these are associated with the overall increase in respiratory infections previously reported by Chinese authorities, or separate events,” said the WHO.
While the health body waits for more information from China, it is recommending that people in the country take measures to reduce the risk of respiratory illnesses such as wearing masks “as appropriate”; ensuring good ventilation and keeping distance from those who are ill.

But you point out a real problem. The enormous mishandling of the COVID epidemic has severely diminished the credibility of the public health establishment to the point where it actually does hurt public health. A little humility - EDUCATING PEOPLE and admitting that this is our best current GUESS would have gone a long way - a lot farther than the sort of don't mask- mask duplicity and we know best shenanigans that went on with COVID. And then to try to enforce guesses - even educated ones - with the police power of the state? insanity.

It couldn't be found before, I have little faith it'll be found later.
When I see young/healthy people wearing masks, I can't help but just shake my head. And they don't even have dyed hair.
Let alone the shear stupidity of people in the back of airplane that'll wear a mask for half the flight, then take it off, etc.

id rather watch a green haired dumbass mask up in ridiculous places, than a 75 year old right wing extremist drowning to death in their own fluids because fox told them the vaccine was going to kill them.
there is blood on the hands of every politician that pandered to the extremist base for votes. That goes both ways.

I realize you prefer your own opinion to facts, Hub, but not everyone is like you fortunately. But as I have previously indicated to you, you have the option of blocking me and never seeing another of my 'cut and paste' posts if you so choose. But I rather imagine you'll prefer to just continue to whine about the facts you find contrary to your own worldview. But I really don't care, and the facts don't either.
