Truth! I've heard the ER is a great airplane and I'd love to fly it. To drop over 40% in relative seniority to go there (ATL 88B to ATL ERB)...and be on reserve again for who knows how long, is a NO for me. I'll take weekends and holidays off, and get to pick most of my trips thankyouverymuch.

That's the beauty of the current system we have. Choice!

If you like your seniority you can keep your seniority. Sorry, I had to.😂

There's one (ppt) on the fleet page under references. I'll leave it to you as far as how good it is

You can't get any better than this -

http://www.a320guide.com/

It was written primarily by a Spirit captain who has flown the airplane for a decade and highly experienced aside from that. Most of the photos and some airframe/engine bits are specific to Spirit but there's nothing that would confuse you when compared with the Delta particulars.

In general, the best thing to do is translate the similarities... systems wise it is quite similar to the 757, just with the addition of the flight control computers. Flight guidance is similar just with things called different things (Open Descent= FLCH, Managed Descent= VNAV (with the caveat that you can only do managed descent or climb when in managed nav (LNAV) or LOC)). Lean on the similarities to ease your transition and focus on the differences like the caveat of managed descent. At the end of the day, remember it's a jet that is slippery like the 757. You know what handling that well looks like, do what you have to do to make it look the same!
