Default Delta OAL international jumpseat?

Did Delta stop allowing other airline pilots jump seating internationally. I mean with an open seat in the back. A ticket agent in JFK told me that over the holidays. Our js guy says they do. Just wondering if any of you guys know the official answer. The time they told me that I had to cab to EWR and catch UAL.

Thanks in advance.

No changes. You need to be checked in or have a listing 74 minutes prior for TSA purposes. You also need to pay any customs and immigration fees at the ticket counter. You can't walk up to the departure gate.

Thanks. Must a have been a new ticket agent. Or they just weren't in the mood. I always check in at the ticket counter when overseas jumping.

I just brought two Jet Blue pilots back to JFK from Tel Aviv last Friday, one of them even got the last business class seat. I think you got a rogue agent.

Thought it was 90 minutes before departure for check in.

I've had some say the computer shows not Jumpseat eligible, which is true for the physical Jumpseat. I've had to explain from that.

Correct. Some agents take that literally but it is referring to the actual cockpit jumpseat. I've had this pop up with OAL jumpseaters the most at some of the outstations (RDU, PIT, PHL). If you get a chance to talk with the crew we can usually sort out a rogue/misinformed agent. It seems to be relatively simple to trick the computer into thinking you're a standard NRSA and flowing you into a cabin seat. Higher rates of success if you can get a red coat/supervisor involved.

75 minutes for an international jumpseat reservation/check-in.
60 minutes for an international non rev reservation.

Sorry to revive a dead thread.
Can anyone recommend the best way to do this as an OAL requesting a jumpseat out of Atlanta? Special service counter outside security? Or how should I do this- trying to get to CDG. Thanks in advance!
