No worries! :)

I guess we can add referees/bouncers to our resumes. Seriously, I think this is only the tip of the iceberg and it will be a long, hot, nasty summer.
(sooo glad I work charter!)

Why do I have a mental image of SWA execs cowering in a corner somewhere repeating, "please don't let it be us next, please don't let it be us next......." :D

I highly doubt it. This wasn't pax vs airline. It was pax vs pax and the employee attempted to intervene and stop it. As I said before, he's already back on duty. That wouldn't be the case if this was on the United doctor level.

But...it's only a matter of time before any airline can and will out do United [emoji3]

Getting involved is pretty silly but if you look closely the pilot didn't hit the woman, he hit her forearm that she was using to try and choke the other woman.

Either way, you won't see me getting involved in any fight. Let stupid beat up on stupid for all I care. APD can take care of it...

for a minute I thought it was an lax preflight FA duties assignment briefing:D

Look at the title. It's not "Pilot Tries To Break Up Passenger Fight" (of course this is TMZ).

Stand back and let the two audition for Jerry Springer. Of course then the title would be "Pilot Stands Idly By While Two Innocent Passengers Try To Choke Each Other Out".

896 9:30 AM PT -- A rep for Delta tells us ... "We became aware of this incident and a video last week and immediately removed the pilot from duty while we completed a thorough investigation. Local law enforcement was called to respond at the time of the incident. The pilot has since been returned to work as our investigation found that his actions deescalated an altercation between passengers on the jetway floor during deplaning."

We're told the women in the vid had gotten into a skirmish earlier, on the airplane, and they knew each other. They were eventually escorted away by a Delta employee, and as they were walking away, cops showed up. We're told neither of the women wanted to press charges against anyone.

Too bad they didn't choke each other to death. Two less vermin in our society. The DLA captain was just trying to keep the peace. That should teach him not to take his attention away from monitoring guard frequency even while at the gate!

:D Sorry, couldn't resist.
