In the interest of brevity, I omitted a few details earlier. If memory serves, when the GS started going out, I had already been assigned a two day trip to cover days 3 & 4 of original trip. So on day 2, I sat short call at home.
Was nice to be home, but sucked having to give back the extra pay I would have gotten. Especially considering I was not very productive at the house while on SC.
First world problems.

Go to your pilot activity statement and for me it said short call credit 5:00. I had five short calls that month and I want to say reserve guarantee was like 75 hours. My credit shown was 75 plus 5 for 80 hours. It also showed $758 on the same line as the short call credit .

Same here. Not sure if it's supposed to pay out like that so I shut my trap about it, but even though for purposes of credit during the month it just goes toward reserve guarantee it appears in the pay stub to pay the extra 1-hr per period.

The company won't hesitate to claw that back with zero notice once they detect the error, so be prepared. They've also demonstrated the ability to pull money out of your 401k with no warning (or approval from you), which is nice.

They also pulled money directly out of my SAVINGS account during that 31Jul paycheck foul up.

Yeah, I had the 401 issue too, I know they can pull the money back, I'm not living or dying by those few SCC's.

You bring up an important point in that how the f does the company have instant ability to withdraw from our fidelity accounts? Is it our money or not?

The contract says the pilot will "receive one hour of pay and credit offset against his reserve guarantee." To me that could me $151.66 (one hour of pay) AND credit offset against guarantee (one hour toward filling up)

Section 4 H3

I guess the question is, is anyone who has sat an unused SC and flown under the guarantee NOT been paid extra?

I had 3 days unused SC in June. The only pay above reserve guarantee was for a GS. The reserve guarantee was reduced by 1 hour each time.

Check your pay statement (not your time card). I was paid 5 hours for 5 short calls in April.
