Finally, it's official. No discussion yet?
May 2018. Pro 10.5, with cellular out of the box (finally), but no official mention of GPS ownship positioning. I've "heard" several say that we will get that too, but I'd like to see an official statement.
Anyone seen it in action?

Seen what in action? Ownship display? iPads? Yes and yes. Georeferenced approach plates and airport diagrams are great but become a regulatory hurdle for anything other than Part 91. We can't have increased SA in the cockpit because some knucklehead might turn off all his displays and fly with only his iPad...or something. I've also had ADS-B In Wx as well as AHRS input(basically a PFD w/ GPS derived altitude & VSI) to the ipad but that was with Foreflight, which is light years ahead of Jepp FD. Jepp has teamed up with Foreflight so I can only hope we use Jepp charts through Foreflight and not Jepp FD. Anyone who has used Foreflight knows what I'm talking about.

Of course we will. They’ve raised a huge stink about FA turbulence injuries lately so it would be hypocritical to backtrack now. If anything delays the iPad rollout it will be the software out of the box.
