I assume that rather than taking the hint that their site is needlessly cumbersome and streamlining the process on their own, Lufthansa (or whoever runs id90) is just going to shoot down the innovations in the name of security and leave the status quo alone...

All future charges have been stopped, and we are going to process refunds for all subscriptions ASAP, as mentioned on the site’s homepage. All subscribers will also get an email explanation as soon as I can get it out. On a trip now and this came up suddenly - it may take me a few days to fully unwind everything and get a useful email out.
