Ahh thanks. I was also considering the UFly, but maybe not if it has the same problem. Has anyone noticed ANR interference with the David Clark ANR headsets?
Oscillating hum is a good way to describe it. I will try your method on my next trip. So basically you are keeping the battery pack as far away from the window heat as possible? Thanks for the tip.

Agree with the other posters... just try to secure the battery pack away from the heated window. I clip mine to the vertical bar above the rearmost window with a big paper clamp.

I have the David Clark headsets and sometimes notice this as well. If I get the battery pack too close to a heated window or if I even touch the window with my hand I'll get some minor interference.
