Ending NRA sponsorship
From social media
"Delta is reaching out to the NRA to let them know we will be ending their contract for discounted rates through our group travel program. We will be requesting that the NRA remove our information from their website."
How about instead the company ends discounts and carry rights of a certain Sheriffs office that we know wont step up to the fight if needed

Tons of companies are dumping their relationship with the NRA. The list from just this week includes:
Avis Budget Group
Chubb
Enterprise Holdings (includes Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Alamo, National Car Rental)
First National Bank of Omaha
Hertz Global Holdings
Metlife
Symantec

I had no idea that Delta had a relationship with the NRA, but I am glad to see they have stepped up and are dropping it like many other companies.

I think you will see that the trickle of companies you see dropping NRA sponsorships will turn into a landslide in a few weeks. The first question asked of anyone running in future elections will be if they have accepted money from the NRA.

Yes, let’s target a grass-roots organization of 5M+ law-abiding members that had fark all to do with any mass shooting event.
Bandwagon feel-good PR stunt, indeed...

You can look up the communications department and let them know you disagree.
They get a couple of bots on an algorithm and react which is a shame and I'm neither a gun owner or NRA member fwiw.
Funny thing is, the sherrif whose cops hid during the shooting blamed the NRA too. Just a bunch of ****ery.

Put it this way. It doesn't hurt the NRA because it doesn't hurt their membership. Who joins the NRA for discounts?
But it will hurt Delta. Which makes this a dumb move.
Fwiw... I had an enterprise car rented for spring break, switched it when they made their announcement. Saved money and got a bigger car. I've rented Enterprise for 18 years because of brand loyalty going back to them renting to me when I was under 25.
Just looked it up and I joined the NRA. Not expensive, $30. And I don't even own a gun.
