What are the specs on the Surface, processor etc.? Would it run better with the Delta garbage off it?
I have a PRO 3 at home and it's a great machine. I suspect the non pro 3 will fall somewhere between adequate and decent once the company junk is off it. |

I've flown with several pilots who bought their surface 2s and were very pleasantly surprised with how much better it was with the company crap off it.

My experience with the Surface2 I kept was the same. Once Delta was wiped off it, it was much faster and more stable. The Airwatch Agent software they have on these things really hinders their capabilities. One downside I would say is that this surface doesn't come with Office installed as the previous one did. That made the Surface2 a much better deal than this time around at nearly twice the price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Dude, only one other airline out there was retarded enough to go with the Surface. Quit beating around the bush and call a SkyWest a SkyWest, everyone knows. Admitting is the first step!
Haha cool story brah...not sure what that has to do with any of this. Like someone else already pointed out ExpressJet has them too and don’t act like they are the same since they are are subsidiaries of Skywest Inc. regardless my post still stands as it is a decent piece of equipment without the jeppesson and company software on it. Of course it’s a poor machine for airline use, but that’s not what this thread is about. |
Even the iPad runs better with the company software off it, the Jeppesen app is la crap.

I'll probably keep mine.
But this has to be the funniest thing you've said. Kudos. |
I kept my Surface 2 for the wife and kids and never had it payroll deducted or sent a bill. Works just fine for free. It does still have the Delta crap on it. Oh well. Just sayin' ;)

. I have not found that to be true. I had last year's iPad PRO and now also have the brand new Company iPad PRO (current model) I think the Company iPad is snappier and more responsive than my 14 month old personal iPad PRO. And from what I know about iOS, if any app is not running, it has no effect on the speed of other apps which are running. . |
