Swap Tool Launched
Reminder that tomorrow (4/20) PCS runs begin for the May bid period at 0700ET
This is a bit of a plug, but hopefully it will save some of you guys some time. Our new Swap Tool is now available, and allows you to skip the manual process of finding trips and building up Swap w/ Pot templates.
I've been using it in testing for several months, and it has proven far superior to putting in * Swaps (i.e. blind swaps).
A real life example use case in my category (NYC 7ER) is:
1. PBS spit out a schedule with a low-time "3 day" SFO trip, worth 11-ish hours
2. PCS wouldn't let me swap for a commutable 2 day, because my trip finished after midnight, and was therefore technically a 3 day (assumes negative RSV coverage)
3. I used the Swap Tool to find all European 3-days, departing on the same date, preferencing them in order
4. I entered the swaps and waited for a PCS run to eventually churn one of those Euro trips into Open Time.
5. The swap went through with the result of an extra 4+ hours of pay and a commutable trip on both ends. Dinner in CDG wasn't half bad either
There is a 7-day trial period, so you can try it to put your May swaps in, and pay nothing if you don't find it useful. Be sure to cancel in the 7-day period if you don't want to continue.
We also have a launch coupon (use: SWAPDELTA) for 20% off until 4/30, for those that want to try it:

Great time savings with this. Confirm that it pulls one's schedule from the original award and doesn't update after that? Not a huge detractor since that's when most blind swaps are relevant, and you can manually enter rotations.

We aren't currently polling iCrew for subsequent changes, which is the reason for the manual entry option.
