Right now if my phone rings I KNOW FOR SURE that I will get the GS being offered.

I do not look forward to waking up a 4am to respond to an ARCOS message only to find out Im not getting the GS because it went senior. Repeat ad nausem all morning long and I get no sleep. This is stupid.

How are they going to handle short notice greenslips? Right now, they don't wait 10 minutes. Also, what is going to happen when you receive a robo call for a GS and call back 5-6 minutes later..You sit on hold for 5 minutes and finally a scheduler answers and says sorry you were called you 11 minutes ago and we covered it with a junior pilot? I know these issues will happen.

Isn't that what the app is for? Just sign into the app, rack & stack and submit? The way I understand it, I won't ever need to talk to anyone.

You can still acknowledge via iCrew, correct? That's probably the fastest method.

Is this just for WS and GS? If I don't ever change my schedule or pick up slips, do I need to sign up for this?

Yes, No.

does this ARCOS system work off what I imput in iCrew, or is it just going to send out a call for a blanket GS all the time and whoever is most senior that wants it gets it?

On the flip side, it’s frustrating watching the schedulers go through the ladder for hours...right up until you can’t make the commute, then you get the call. This new system should level the field between commuters and non-commuters and make it more seniority based. If you don’t want a call at 4AM, but that in your slip restrictions.

It seems to benefit skeds more than us.
