Does the new GS clearinghouse app bypass those who've already been awarded one until those more junior have had the opportunity? I thought it was a contractual thing, but i don't yet trust it.

They have stated it will honor the contract with one exception. A GS will be a proffer not mandatory if awarded via ARCOS. Sine the trip assignments will simply be pushed from crew Skeds to ARCOS I see no reason to doubt that. ARCOS is a notification tool only. It has nothing to do with the actual award.

I don't care either way.

If it does honor the contract, then nothing really changes except they now all become proffers (which they could have done anyway with a one line memo). Win.

If it doesn't in any way, and theres a lot of ways, then DALPA will need to get a few more volunteers to staff the new full time collections agency that will need to be spooled up to send big checks to pilots for slips they didn't even fly. Win.

It will always go to the senior pilot who acknowledges the proffer. It honors the contract.

Does that include the 10 minute wait before moving on?

If so, that's great, but then it would still be ridiculous for it to blast call the entire list at the same time.

Yes. After acknowledging you will be contacted again to let you know if you got the trip or not (at least 10 minutes as per the contract). If no one of the first group acknowleges the trip (doubtful for a GS) they will move on to group 2, group 3, etc. This will come more into play for Assignments when that part of ARCOS is activated.
