I emailed them the other week to sign up, but no dice. Gotta try again I guess.

What are the details on the T-Mobile International plan? Is it data/voice/text anywhere in the world you can get coverage?

I have Verizon where Mexico and Canada are included.

MExico and Canada are unlimited, free (LTE data, talk, text)

There is a list of 140 countries where text and 2g data are free, and calls are 20 cents per minute. Many countries the data is 4G or better, but that is not guaranteed.

The military plan with 3 lines is $80/month, all taxes and fees included, if you use autopay (a credit card for example)

additional lines are $10 each

Free Netflix standard (worth $10.99/month)

great customer service

Did you do it from your DL email?

Just switched to T-Mobile in the last month and probably going back to ATT. Perks aren't as generous as T-Mobile and the prices are a bit more. But having coverage was never an issue when I was on ATT. So far in the locations I've been in Michigan and SLC there is ZERO coverage in the locations I've been (to include the SLC airport). The coverage just isn't there for it to be worth free netflix. Also, intl data is nice but very slow, great for e-mail and text.

Pretty much my experience as well... switched from ATT to T-mobile for cheaper package and better bennies, but after a cascade of complaints (all valid) from family about how terrible the coverage was/is, I ended up switching back to ATT less than a month later.... Central Minnesota is not the place to be with T-mobile..

T-mobile has a free iphone loaner. Pick up in store or order online. Try their network for a week, bring it on a trip.
