We switched last Oct. Our US service is trash - but we just got back from 10 days in Portugal and it was great (other networks!) - free data and texts.

Ha! We got better coverage in Sri Lanka than large parts of the US, but overall it works well enough at home.

My family and I use Verizon and are planning a trip to Malawi, what would be a good way to have cell service there? TIA

Don’t know about Verizon, but AT&T has international day pass. Costs $10 a day. Works great.

Yes. This is true for vzw as well. About $10 for every 24-hour period.

I tried T Mobile for the international plan. Couldn’t get service in my house or anywhere that wasn’t a major metropolitan area. International service was inadequate and I could only send a text message 50% of the time. I switched back to AT&T after 2 months and pay $10 for a 24 hour period of seamless international service with LTE.

I also pay $10 a day for AT&T international. Always have good service everywhere international and domestic. Also have the iPad now. Getting one timely trip off the swapboard while out of the country covers the cost for 5 years.

Pardon my ignorance: Do you sign up for that perk through the Deltanet page or advise T-Mobile you are a Delta employee? Thanks.
