I have Global Entry and have no problems. If you think you should get a pass because of non-rev, employee status probably not.

In the past I always got pre when flying standby. Now I don't. I was with a retired Delta employee recently, and we were both flying standby. He got pre and I didn't. He did not apply to be pre checked approved either. Just wondering if no current Delta employees get pre anymore?

I have global entry and always get it. I've noticed my family gets it when on same reservation as me. If they're not on my reservation, they don't get it. Before I got global entry, I never got it.

My wife always gets "precheck" even when I am on the same PNR. She is NOT Global Entry nor am I. Of course she will make sure I am aware she is "precheck"

From what I have been told, it is completely random and she should buy a LOTTO ticket.

All the best,

OC

You can just cancel your PNR and relist until you get precheck, usually get it within 2-3 attempts.

TSA started limiting non-enrolled pax in the pre-check line last year. If I remember correctly, a company doc or ALPA bulletin was issued in conjunction.

Get Global Entry or Clear. If you travel much it is well worth it.

Travelling on the same listing as someone with GE or Clear will usually get you an automatic listing as well.

How to sign up for Global entry? I've found the link to enroll online but is there a quicker way to do it at the airport?

Global entry is a multi step process.
The only thing you can expedite is the in person meeting. You can walk up, and complete the interview...if they have time.
Otherwise you have to follow the online process.
