Dickson and ALPA

Why is ALPA being so quiet on the Steve Dickson nomination? Too bad I have to learn about all this via DPA...
It would be nice if the union that the pilots of Delta pay dues for would actually bring this to all pilots attention instead of sweeping it under the rug as usual...
Once again pathetic ALPA!!!!

They are all out of the office since Wednesday at noon till Monday.
Also heard ALPA has almost no leg to stand on with that case. Shame she had to get her own lawyers. Glad she came out ahead despite ALPA leadership.

You are woefully incorrect. When the litigation process plays out and the full story comes out you will quickly realize why.

She kept her job in spite of herself (and ALPA) thanks to an egregious over reach by the company.

There are no hands clean of blood, including hers.

She kept her job specifically because of Section 15 of the PWA. The process was followed and she was returned to the line.

The Whistleblower stuff is a battle she decided to fight on her own

After reading the transcripts, Delta does not look good in this case. I cannot speak on the ALPA side because it is all her saying she was not represented and their are always two sides to a story. In the next year or two, there are going to be two big labor loses for delta if the facts don’t change on this one. The USERRA case is going make Delta look worse in my opinion.

You need to check your past email. Dalpa sent a long email penned by her out to everyone. Talked and discussed on here extensively already.

Three sides...his, hers and the truth. My guess is the truth is somewhere in the middle and there is more than meets the eye here.
