I must have been under a rock. Am I the only one who didn't know about this program? Volunteer for a day, report it to Delta and they'll pay you a day's pay. Nice to see they don't just want to hire people who volunteer, but are willing to help light a fire for current employees to do so.

They pay all non-pilot employees 8 hours pay.

They pay pilots 3:15 hrs.

Better than nothing. Nice way to give back to an organization of your choice.

You must have been counting your money on profit sharing day. They announced this program then with great fanfare.

They really want to help you should be able to pick your day and drop a trip like an APD/IVD. Wanted to do an event in sept, but working. With kids soccer that weekend CinC house approval might have been tough too though. Volunteering to take active duty fishing, wife only hears ‘fishing’.... :)

I start counting my money 6 months early, actually. Got bills to pay!

Not to disparage, but I'll bet any pilot/employee who participated in the "Buy A 767" program wishes they had their money back.
