IFE is big. Gonna make FL 330 almost impossible on a full 2.5 hour flight.

Good point. Although with the closure of LAX and the arrival of the A220 I don't see the 717 doing any flights over 800nm

What are the current 717 bases and what are the plans for the 717 going forward(bases)? Anymore 717's out there for Delta to buy?

Current: ATL, NYC, DTW

Future: MSP very strong possibility on next AE. No increase in headcount on 717 fleet. MSP will be staffed on attrition from other bases to limit training churn

great news, IFE too...the other two, i know nothing about.

Guess that also explains why they are opening the MSP 717 base.

The IFE on the C series is much lighter than legacy IFE. No wires. I'll bet they go with the same system for the 717

There are a few on the market, but the question is why, the A220 is much cheaper. The leases weren't due up till 2024, why would you extend at the height of the market?

Why not
RJs are expensive and need to be reduced
