Default Helicopter flight to NYC airports from Manhat

I understand there are helicopters doing routine service from downtown Manhattan to JFK/ Newark – anyone ever use this? Cost? Do you know if we could “jumpseat“ or fly space available at a reduced cost? Any info would be great – thanks!

Yes I know of a guy that has. I heard it was $200 from LGA to Manhattan one way. No jumpseat

Not far off of an Uber black XL at rush hour, actually.

$200 or $225 depending on time of day. I’ve done it and it was worth every penny. I expect the price of these urban air taxi flights to come down pretty significantly once Uber Elevate gets up and running.

Used to have hourly to EWR from Midtown and Lower Manhattan heliports. They parked at C3 concourse and Continental BusinessFirst ticket holders could book from the two heliports and easily connect to the evening Europe bank of departures. I arrived late one evening from Germany and took a “jumpseat” (really didn’t have reciprocal agreement but they went back empty at that time of day and agent just sent me down) to the midtown heliport to make a rehearsal dinner. Saved a lot of time.
