I’ve had an IA call last 3 days in a row. ATL 320B

In my category, there have been more green slips in the last 3 days than we normally get in an entire month (or 2-3 months in winter).

What do you have against people flying GSs?

Either you're trolling or can't read?

NYC 320 has 14 GS today, plus an IA so far. There's a dozen or so trips reporting tomorrow that are still uncovered and there are delays today due crew staffing issues. Of the open trips reporting tomorrow, most report in the next 12-14 hours.

The really crazy thing is that today wasn't even the worst reserve coverage. Saturday and Sunday will be even worse!

Can't it be both?

Let's see if you can follow this for the 3rd time. The overwhelming sentiment I've read online is QOL was awful this summer and the company needs to staff better...yet there is truly no incentive for the company to staff better because they know that there is virtually a limitless amount of GS they can give out to save their bacon.

I saw quite a few NYC rotations this summer offered as GS, then IA's that then go NOOP'd...rotation remarks at bottom said "could not cover"....so there was a point that folks said "thanks but no thanks" to multiple GS's this summer.

We’re staffed fine. There were thunderstorms in July and the MAX.

This. You gotta love the PR spin. Nothing to see here, we are running the airline fine. Move along.

Me personally,I flew 94 hours on reserve in July..and hated working that much. Then got a bit smarter in bidding and worked less days, about 50 hours with some rolling thunder for 120 payin August. GS reserve can be fruitful...

I will say this though...my motivation will be a lot less cooperative next summer, if management is stonewalling us...

Ha, sorry I posted and walked away. I just couldn’t help myself. You just didn’t seem clear about your stance on guys flying GSs in your last post. Or the 5 before.
