What’s your favorite Delta day?

The day I got hired... first flight on the 88. Last flight on the 88. First flight on the 757 and subsequently 767. Last flight on the 737. First flight on the little bus. First flight on the 330. First flight as little bus captain (best job I’ve ever had!).
I’ll enjoy the day “captain” Gumm has to go spend more time with his family given how ruined my schedule was this summer.

Great thread. I could write volumes, and if it all ended tomorrow I'd go with a smile. By far, it's been the people. Followed by the places. Followed by the equipment...even the 88. I just hope I can remember it all after I retire... because God knows I can't write half of it down!

All you youngins, do yourself a favor and take the advice I was too ignorant to take. Take pictures and write about your experiences. Some day your grand kids might find it fascinating the things you experienced and the places you’d been.
