ExpressJet OG (CoEx) here. Definitely didn't impede my getting to Delta. In fact, XJT was the most represented regional in my new hire class.

What's the upgrade time like at XJT these days? I truly loved working there, but upgrade time was not even in the ball park compared to other places. I know they've got 175s now, and the United flow is working, but I feel like it would still be a long upgrade.

There is no United flow. Do not think that being at Expressjet will increase your chances at United. Good to see you are asking people here versus reading the crap on the United "Aviate" site!

The 6 Nov Indoc class breakdown was as follows:

23 total with a 30% Mil / 70% Civilian breakdown

Mil: USAF, USMC, USN, NOAA

Civ: American, Compass, Expressjet, Republic, Endeavor, Allegiant, PSA

Good luck!

Now upgrade time is around 3 years after next bid, it’s should be about 1,5-2 years.

Oh that's great. Glad to see XJT back on its feet. It looked so bleak there for a long time.

As they get rolling Captain bids will probably go down to one to one and a half years.

No. Majors don’t care which regional you fly for. Your time at ExpressJet will be looked at the same way as if you were at Endeavor, Republic, Envoy, etc etc etc.

Speaking of Republic, the tool of the day award goes to the tool that queried the high-stressed Brickyard crew out of Atlanta if he had done his QRH. What a tool.

A wind check would of been more helpful.
