Purple Uni's

Just finished a trip and I'd say 3 out of the 4 FAs wore black, including 3 guys. I thought the purple dress was the problem, why are the male F/As going to the black? And I have seen very few Gate agents wearing the black. Is this an AFA or union thing? Again heard some fantastic stories of purple breast milk, arsenic and women sweating purple weeks after switching to the black.....

Now is the time we should stop wearing hats and refuse our double breasted jacket. Decent uniforms for all.

I'm not a fan of the cleaners' uniforms.

Some are switching 'just because' or as an FU to the company, and I agree that's lame, but the problems are real so I don't really care. The one's I have a problem with are the sloppy ones in pilled out old sweaters.

Are you kidding? Half this pilot group tomorrow would show up wearing a wrinkled polo shirt if the company went to an alternate uniform.

why do you care??

I’d switch if I was a FA. Who knows what the long term health problems are going to be because of this.

It kills me that there's gonna be ANOTHER 5 gazillion page thread about this....

Bert Sampson 02-16-2020 05:27 AM

They’re all completely within their rights to do so, and it’s someone else’s problem to care about it.
