The Dec retirement schedule is correct. I suspect however there are multiple scenarios being worked for a rapid pull down in block hours across all fleets. Any block hour reduction would impact the MD88 the hardest. As pointed out you can view the planned retirements on Deltanet from a company computer. It’s probably to late for a reduction in summer block hours so the focus is probably contingencies for the fall. Some of those plans might be ugly. Lets hope this Virus dies a natural death quickly.

they should run it Atl-MCO-Atl once daily. Full white glove treatment. Retro uniforms for flight crew. That would be a cool way to go to Disney...

We already wear retro uniforms! We are halfway to this plan becoming a reality.

My understanding they want to push dinner dress blue's. Except the captain will be in the whites.

Probably a mistake to mention anything white and DC-7 in the same sentence.

Applies to anything with a radial, or made by Grumman.

Now you know why we are spending a billion dollars to lighten our carbon footprint. 25 million per year, per R3350.

that dc7 would need a ton of mx. It already had it just to get to the ferry point. It would be a cool i won the lottery money pit though.

I would just bring a life size poster of 80ktsclamp and tell the kids this could be you. Just as good as having 7 MD88s in formation at an airshow.

How about pottery with Pete

Per Deltanet we will take the 10 Latam new A350s direct from Airbus in the 2021-2025 time frame.
