Council 81 pilots,

PV is on the road, so he asked me to send out this quick note. Today the MEC held a special conference call to discuss a TA to address the challenges of COVID-19. PV and I both voted in favor of the TA.

Look for an MEC comm shortly with details.

Let's see what's coming down the pipe...

Edit: Looks like an LOA, not a TA.

Specifically, the agreement, which is effective immediately, addresses:
  • Improved flexibility for pilots to better manage their health and wellness in recognition of the COVID-19 virus
  • Response to quickly adjust for the network changes in the April bid timeline to be adjusted allowing for a re-bid to occur
  • The option for a Special Incentive Line (SIL) offering for the months of May and June

LOA looks good to me. Pay protection for COVID, restarting SILs at 55 hours, and the April rebid, plus some errata.

What am I missing?
