No More Greenslips
 

Looks like crew skeds is largely halting the assignment of greenslips and now flights are just cancelling. I think not long until a total shutdown. ATL has parked planes everywhere. DTW Gates about half full but air traffic near zero. ATC is shutting down sectors requiring reroutes.

In comparison to actual open time it’s about 1 green slip for every 10 trips in open time. I don’t know the formula for deciding which trip and when but I watched it very closely the last 2 days in 3 bases on my fleet. About 12 trips in NYC just disappeared out of open time and nothing in the daily trip coverage in my base or a couple others showing them covered.

TSA reported 75% decline in total pax yesterday.

There’s been a few today, mostly early morning hours. But this afternoon they seem to have largely given up assigning them. Like other poster said, lots of open time disappearing.

Haven’t read it all yet but a critical ops update detailing cancellations just came out.

If I’m on a greenslip and half way through my trip the rest of the legs cancel what are the pay implications if any?

More important, how do you get home?

I’m definitely getting more and more worried as the hours go on.

Looks like they may be starting to shut things down. Nothing being covered now even with trips in open time today..My trips the rest of the month require acknowledgement again on icrew even though I already acknowledged initially..Not looking good.
