I think this is also affected by reductions in P2P routes between smaller markets in favor hub and spoke routes. Was in a big hub that was a masked madhouse a few weeks ago, but I’m sure it had to do with departure bank and P2P/hub-spoke consolidation.

He never took the bet.
Lot has changed in 2.3 months. I thought as a nation we would have woken up by now. It seems we are a nation of children who are afraid of monsters. That irrational fear will prevent any return to normalcy as the programming is complete. Recovery is gone.

Is the entire planet in on it? New Zealand had over 100 days straight of no Covid, were celebrated for that (easy to do when you are an isolated island nation), things were back to normal, and now they just shut down the capital again due to just four new cases! I don't think we are the only nation going off the deep end here.

Yes. It's Japan. They've taken it seriously, they conduct quarantine, early testing, contact tracing, and so on. They don't have a bunch of anti-mask morons running around, and have stayed pretty open and free throughout this ordeal. Definitely something the US could have done, but we chose to not do that. Now we will continue to suffer the consequences, particularly passenger airline pilots.

I have covid and I know friends that have had it. In my experience, it hasn't been bad at all. 2 weeks later I still have a cough. I finally did a virtual visit to get some medication. 2 days of back pain and a few days of no smell and burning nostrils were the worst for me. I'm looking forward to getting back out there. I was really struggling to drive the boat and fish at the same time. I'm guessing I got it playing hockey. I'll be back at hockey soon. Life is too short to live in fear and give up the things you love doing.
