1.1M+ TSA Numbers by Independence Day
#731
I doubt it will have much impact. Most commuters understand they have a obligation to get to work and will make adjustments when loads are heavy. The vast majority of pilots commute responsibly. Combine that with the positive space options available and I doubt you see issues.

Cnn reporting on travel…
"Sunday’s (3/21/21) new number is 70% of the TSA count from the same day in 2019, pre-pandemic. 1.5 million is almost three times greater than the same-day figure in 2020 when air travel was at its most depressed."

I’m sure they were shaming people for traveling against CDC guidelines. They’re working on pursuing new fear campaigns to dissuade people from trying to enjoy life. Their heads must be exploding!

Haha even when it’s just a list of reported stats you assume there’s some opinion attached to it. I’m so sick of all this us vs. them bull****. It’s all just US! The “them” should be those that are oceans away.

The reported stats already have an opinion attached to them. The reason they have the Death Counter plastered right smack in the middle of their broadcast is to make you afraid of everyone! Your family and neighbors included. Don't get me started on how the death count is likely inflated...
They basically incriminate anyone who dares to object to the contrarian control of the CDC and the Left.

500,000 is hardly 2020’s “most depressed” levels. Regardless, normalcy is coming back full-steam ahead. I think we will be well-positioned to take advantage of the recovery.

Middle still blocked, short on qual'd pilots, no serious cabin service.
Keep hearing the latter is coming but no one can nail a date.
We better get serious.

I agree with you here. I think Delta is behind the curve for sure, especially with regards to pilot training and cabin service. However, releasing the middle seat will add a bit of capacity back when they finally decide to do it.
