I own an F-250 for 11 years. Between the death wobble and the King Ranch extras breaking early in their life, I won’t buy ford again.

GMC 2500HD Diesel. Works good, lasts long time.

After years of German and Japanese cars, my dad bought a new Chevy Tahoe back in 1996. It was not his first choice and there was much annoyance initially but, as many of you know, its a logical choice when you've got teenage kids going to soccer practice, on ski trips, camping trips, the lake, etc. Here we are some 25 years later and about four other cars have come and gone yet that '96 Chevy Tahoe soldiers on.

Ive had 94-00-05-17 GM trucks. Never a bit of trouble and at each buy I was very happy with the residual value.

Also hav had ford suv and vans. Also good vehicles. Just not as comfortable as GM coachwork.

Not sure about Chevy/Ford, but my 2019 Ram 1500 is just about the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Got it brand new last October for $38700 off a $52900 MSRP. Fully loaded Bighorn, heated seats, steering wheel, Nav, LED lighting, etc. that price would have maybe gotten me just above a base F150 or Tundra with nowhere near the options I got on the Ram. Took me awhile to find it so patience pays off. Ram may still very well the same insane incentives they had last fall. Good luck finding your truck!

I bought a used 1990 Dakota with the V6 and 4WD when I left for college. Definitely one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. Finally sold it in 2012-13 and hated to see it go.
