For fun and sun.....get a convertible.
For I/C reliability and reasonable cost of upkeep....you wont find it in the german marks.
All around fun/dollar/wind in your hair.... its tough to beat the domestic options

You want instant torque and 9 second 1/4 mile time... buy a E-stang.

okay, here's a legit car question.
I'm not a car guy. Cars for me have always been a way to get from Point A to Point B. I've finally decided I want a zippy fun car. I like the MX-5 in terms of looks and it's rated pretty highly by Consumer Reports. What is an equivalent car or maybe slightly higher in terms of luxury models?

Lol....nice oldsmobubble
Now how about hanging a pic of a convertible '69 Olds 4-4--2 W-32? Maybe next to the beemer? Haha!
Imho....Next to a 2 wheel ride....a convertible is next best fun to drive. And way less risky. You want something way fun and that you dont have to make an appointment with a PFS attached 3 months out....with a guy named Fritz?
Pick one of the domestic rides.
