If I am wrong, someone say so. I hate passing bum scoop to my friends still trying to get on here.

that is how I understand it, if results are out by COB tomorrow, that will be the AE used, but if not they will use unfilled spots from the July AE

Exactly, hence the delay. No point in giving the class options if they will be invalid before they actually start. For those new here prior to the pandemic no class knew their drop until the first day of class. This whole pre-release and selection is a part of the trimmed down indoc, but it still has to abide by the contract and nothing is official until you actually show up on day one.

Having said ALLLLLL of that, my guess is that the drop will still be eerily similar to the past few drops, meaning it'll be heavy on NYC and a handful of ATL717. Maybe a few spots in other bases thrown in for good measure.

not quite, the class drop before indoc started prior to COVID. Not sure when, but it was definitely in effect when I got hired (early 20)

True, but it was still either late 2019 or early 2020 when it started.

Someone in the 10/12 class told me the 10/19 class is at 45. I'll let you know Tuesday when we get there. Also, still no drop for us yet.

Much appreciated! Welcome aboard! Hopefully you’re offered something that works for you and yours.

P.S. The majority of your coworkers are positive and appreciative of their positions…this forum has its curmudgeons.

hello everyone. Quick question: how many pilots, roughly, have been hired since the post-pandemic hiring restart? Not counting the ones who were hired right before covid hit and were sent home. thank you!

Will have to crank it up several notches if they expect to hire 1,800 (150 per month) for the year 2022.

That of course, would be an all time record breaking hiring year.
