To put a damper on this, the lady at the uniform store on campus said single breasted blazers won’t be a thing until 2023. So we’ll have one more round of sub commander season.

You have to imagine the jacket as black. I'm not sure about the hankerchief yet though. Maybe I'll use a white one, unless I'm on a Greenslip, then I'll use a green one.

I think it looks great. Just ask my grandson Spaulding, he and I are regular pals!

“Hey hey nice hat. Did it come with a bowl of soup?! It looks good on you though.” Now, that’s what I’ll hear every time I put that thing on. At least it will make me smile the first few times.

Just because jackets are no longer required doesn’t mean you can wear whatever you want on walk around. If you choose to not bring your jacket and it’s 20 degrees somewhere then plan on wearing your short sleeve shirt. I’ve had several FO’S over the years bring sweater (not even black) and light jackets to wear. No go. Don’t put me in that position to have to act like your dad and tell you what you can’t wear. It’s not that hard.

If my fo goes out in shirt sleeves in 20 degrees I would question his judgement. Get a packable black jacket. Like me. And everyone else.

Not sure if you’re serious or not, but if you are, I have to say, it’s awfully nice of you to do all the cold walk arounds when your FO doesn’t have an approved jacket!

Is this guy serious? Man I would hate to be your FO!
