Default “Onboard customer disturbance”

Yet another one? They always seem to involve LA, NY or S. Florida.

The disturbing customer should bear the full cost of the diversion, and be banned from flying on any airline in the future.

The government should. Their idiotic mask policy is the root of the problem.

Idiotic maybe, but the root cause is the person(s) in question being a douche canoe.

Everyone flying knows they have to wear a mask....when you make your online reservation you have to click 6-9 different radio buttons to acknowledge the policy....you have to acknowledge them again when you check in.....gate agent announcements......FA announcements.....Capt welcome aboard announcements.

If you don't want to wear the mask, you have the freedom to do so. Take the train...drive your car, but don't get on the plane and then scream "help help I'm being repressed" and start throwing hay makers. If you do, that's all on the person, not the government.

You must not be a pilot if you condone the flying public disobeying crew instructions onboard!

I don’t think that’s what he said. He’s simply acknowledging the mask fatigue that is widely set across much of America. We’re tired of being told what to do, and flight attendants are just the unfortunate souls that have to bare the brunt of the discontent.

Making the issue worse is it seems there is no enforcement of the “mask mandate” in most airports. I’m seeing a good % of passengers not wearing one in the terminal. No police presence telling them to do so. I’ve even seen passengers scan at the gate with no mask and the gate agent didn’t say a word. Left it up to the flight attendants.
For many the ONLY place they are forced to don a mask is at the airport. That plus the CDC/NIH flip-flop on masking for vaccinated individuals and you have a perfect setup for a new form of uncivil disobedience.
Hopefully come January we can relegate “Fauci’s Folly” to the trash can.

I still can’t understand the zeal with which flight attendants want to enforce this one rule. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the use as much gusto when it comes to seatbelts or tray tables. Why is this the hill flight attendants have decided to die on?

Because seat belts and tray tables don't virtue signal like mask enforcement does.

read up on the Stanford Prison Experiment
Should answer your question

Very similar to the early days of the Russian communist authority re: housing.

It is policy. FAA I believe.

It is bad policy, protects no one, and does not jeopardize the operation whatsoever. Far past the time to **** can the BS "mandate"

People are fed up. They blew it with the lie they said once jabbed no masks, then doubled back in it. That ****ed a lot of people off. You can only lie to people for so long, sooner than later many that were not awake become aware of the charade.

Come on SD, just do it. Stuff the mask on aircraft mandate now.
