I don't mind the swap board, I just think it should limited to alv+15 like the regular WS limit.

I will never understand the thinking that we are 7 different airlines just because we have 7 bases.

but why should It be that way? If you don’t want to fly your trip (let’s say you are a DTW320B) and I do (let’s say I’m an ATL320B) why should we both have to wait in suspense til a day prior to see if we actually get to fly/not fly that trip? Why can’t we just acknowledge that it’s a good deal for all involved and let it process when the request is made? I’m not trying to be a d*ck, I just don’t understand where the “protectiveness” comes from when it comes to flying a trip not in your base, especially with how long it can take to change bases with our AE system.

I would love the option to drop the first or last turn on a trip. Or post it to a pick up board to make a horrendous 4 or 5 day trip commutable, or at least a little more palatable.

We had a that at ASA/ExpressJet. You could post a portion of your trip on the pick up/swap board. It was a great way to drop some legs from your trip and a great way for someone to pickup an easy daytrip.
