Our reserve system makes it very difficult for the company to use reserves for that trip.

So wouldn’t that drive more required reserves? Or is the company just resigned to cover all those trips with green slips?

Pretty sure that with a lot I see looking at them being 5 day trips and the min reserve block being 4 days, they may not have enough people to legally fly. And if you do a 4 on 1 off 4 on scheduling, even if you get used on the first block of days, FRMS probably keeps you from being used on the second block. I don’t know all those rules though.

Unfilled Open Time

Are we going to cancel a bunch of flights for tomorrow? Seeing a lot of uncovered open time and even saw a few unicorn coverage codes yesterday as in Out of base GS with conflict.

Well, this post is a pretty compelling argument to go to United.

He should go to United. He'll get significantly better career progression. If he lives in Ohio, it's easy to get to ORD, EWR or IAD.

I still stand by my comment. There are literally hundreds of posts of people asking for attention. It isn't hard to do an hour or two of reading and come here with a post showing you didn't slightlest bit of research yourself. Saying you live in Ohio and want lots of money and QOL is a generally unhelpful statement. So I provided an unhelpful response. No one knows what QOL means to him.

He$%# there are over two pages of open time and a 1/2 page of today that is uncovered and there have been plenty of assignment with conflicts already issued. Does look like they are saying uncle on a quite a few flights for tomorrow.

10% of flights for Friday cancelled per Flight Aware.

Southwest really took it in the shorts yesterday with 25% of flights cancelled. Yikes.

It’s like the Summer of 2022 “Running a little hawt” all over again.

Only, you know, cold.

You know it's bad when DTW is on west flow.
