Ugh, ok thanks all.

Sorry for the dumb question, how much does an IVD pay out? If I use 2 IVDs to drop a 2 day, what does that pay out? Thanks.

On another note, I’m trying to trade a 2 day for a 3 day on different days but it won’t let me. Does reserve coverage have to be blue? It denied my swap. I always thought if you were picking up more it would allow it?

I normally download the .pdf from the ALPA site when it updates. Aug 2024 is the latest but the .pdf is blocked on the PWA page. Anyone know why or have the same issue?

Greenslip legality question: Greenslip goes out at 10pm the night before for a 530am report time and gets no takers, I would have put into for it if I could have commuted in for it. Later on the next morning they put it out for GSWC with a 830am report time which I would have been able to pick it up. It never went out again for normal GS with the new report time. Any recourse? Legal?

My guess is someone should get paid for this but might not be you.

Rotation Changed

Does anyone know if it is considered a reroute if the company changes the portion of your rotation that falls in the next bid period? I can't find the reference--I know it's happened before. Thanks

Is the change part of the new bid package? If so, pretty sure it’s not a RR since they are changing the baseline trip per the PWA.

The trip begins Sept 30, ends Oct 2. My understanding is this is called an asterisked rotation, but do we have any recourse? They've already modified my flying on Oct 2nd

There's a pretty good explanation of this in the scheduling reference handbook. It's called an asterisk rotation. Off the top of my head I remember you are guaranteed pay for the portion of the trip in the current bid period. The carry out portion can be changed and/or canceled with no pay protection.

No recourse. I believe you get extra pay if they extend you a day, but nothing for simple schedule changes if it happens before October bid packet released. I’m sure all your answers in scheduling reference handbook.
