Default Vote of no confidence in management

I wonder why our CEO was not called out in this vote of no confidence. Our operation has been a dumpster fire for a long time and he should be held accountable. I am glad that the strike center has finally opened. It’s sad that the company says we are the greatest pilot group and they then show up to negotiations unprepared and won’t t negotiate in good faith.

So this is my first rodeo as far as negations go, what does all this mean? Strike center, vote of confidence; is it more or less a symbolic gesture to the company?

It’s a shot across the bow. People who are booking a few thousand dollars worth of travel for vacation want to know they’re going. Striking pilots put doubt in those plans.

Does anyone actually care about a vote of no confidence? Sincere question.

Without listing the CEO’s name on the vote of no confidence it isn’t worth the paper it is written on. If you are a member of council 44(Atl) or 20(Dtw), I suggest you write to your reps and asked why they didn’t support putting Bastains name on the letter. I did and haven’t heard back from any of the 4 from Atl yet.

Wouldn't do any good anyway.

WokED has surrounded himself with cascading levels of competence and seated a board that won't do anything about it. He pays them well and if he goes, they will surely be shown the door too. There is no way in h3ll any of them could command the pay elsewhere that they are receiving here. So, they nod. Take a look at the recent board appointments and research who they replaced. Systematically Ed has replaced all the operationally experienced people with those that are echelons over their head. The Peter Principle is in full effect and Ed's job has never been as secure as it is now.

What’s going to happen when Delta management throws another 250 million at Endeavor to keep it propped up?!
