Lemme see if I understand this. You're a Delta CA making $300K a year and you're mad enough about not saving a buck on your lunch to get on the internet and blast a minimum wage airport concessions worker? Bet you threw a fit there too.

No wonder pilots have the reputations we have.

This is correct. Goes along with the old saying - "Do you know how copper wire was invented? Two pilots fighting over a penny." :p

Wasn’t his fault. He actually had a laminated card that outlined it.

Did you intend to make two separate posts calling me a socialist and a snowflake or did you just forget you responded, gramps? Aren't you one of those "raise the retirement age" guys too? Thanks for a great display of cognitive decline.

Oh also, my post history clearly demonstrates I'm neither a socialist nor a snowflake. That's such a tired, boring, worn out comeback, to call everyone who disagrees with you a snowflake or a socialist that all I can do is laugh. Plus, what kind of fragile snowflake gets on the inter webs and throws a temper tantrum because he couldn't get a dollar discount on a chicken sandwich?

Now let me help you back to bed, gramps. You've had a rough day.

It is because you are abusing your KCM privileges to bring in extra sauce for other crew members.

Y’all just don’t get it. It’s not about the $$ I still bought the meal. What was odd was being asked to show my ID only to be told I would not get a discount not because of who I worked for, but because of my job title. I didn’t ask for or expect a discount in the first place.
Why offer a discount to one group of employees but not another, and what is the purpose of a discount? Is it given out solely on a “need” based criteria, or is it a way of saying thank you?

Does somebody at Chik-Filet feel we make too much $$ to qualify for a discount? Is a discount now a need based benefit? Or does Chik-Filet have an issue with flight crews?

Holy Heck! I recall a day when a delta pilot gave me grief in lga buying breakfast at some restaurant. It was someplace that gave delta employees a discount for food. A gate agent gave me a sticker to put on the back of my id badge to save me a few bucks. She said, “you should have this to save some bucks since you work hard to fly our people around.” I said sure why not if I can safe some bucks as a lowly rj dude. So one morning buying breakfast some delta dude sees me using the bar code to check out and he was appalled I had the same benefit as he did. And even made a point to tell me that it was a mainline privilege and not meant for contract workers.

You guys kill me.
