Chik-Filet, no discount for Flight Crew
 

Just got lunch in GSP. Employee at Chik-Filet asked to see the ID. Said I didn’t get a discount because I my ID said crew. So Chik-Fillet, at least in GSP gives discount for other airline employees, but specifically excludes flight crew.
Does somebody at Chik-Filet feel we make too much $$ to qualify for a discount? Is a discount now a need based benefit? Or does Chik-Filet have an issue with flight crews?

They prob only give discounts to local employees and not transient employees. I’ve seen that at other airports. Taking care of their own, not the world.

Lemme see if I understand this. You're a Delta CA making $300K a year and you're mad enough about not saving a buck on your lunch to get on the internet and blast a minimum wage airport concessions worker? Bet you threw a fit there too.

This. It's amazing the kind of hissy fit people throw when the $10/hr worker won't give the guy making more in a month than they make in a year 10% off their $12 lunch.
