Seniority Widget Accuracy

I found a widget for DAL seniority status and expectations.

The upgrade movement and base selection mentioned in the forums doesn’t appear to match the slower pace in the widget.

Does anyone know what I’m talking or whether the widget is trustworthy for planning purposes?

Are you referring to Widgetseniority or something else?

It's as accurate as it can be.

Can you give a specific example of what doesn't match?

There is a free web page behind the Delta ALPA wall located at MYALPA>>MyMEC>>Dashboard>>Pilot Dashboard

There is also a private site WidgetSeniority.com which I think lets new users have the service the first year of their employment as an incentive.

You can gather the same information from iCrew at Bids>>Relative PositionWithin Category for Next Bid Period.

iCrew is the most accurate, followed by Widget Seniority and ALPA. All tools are very close. Someone might have better information, but the small differences are likely folks who are on leave or not bidding for some reason or another.

Widget is the most accurate in projecting seniority progression and future seniority from what I've seen

Does widget and ALPA pilot dashboard take into consideration the amount of pilots being hired into the future or just retirements as a way to determine your seniority progression?

They only take into account known retirements at Age 65. Earlier retirements (medical, etc.) are not known in advance and not taken into account. The same goes for hiring - it’s all just a guess until a new pilot steps foot on property on Day 1 of Indoc.

I'm pretty sure the projected seniority in widget uses the projected staffing requirement and not real time seniority. In other words, theoretically, by the end of the AE, you'll know approximately how many pilots will either train or be hired below you.
