Maybe someone has pointed it out already, but we are launching LAX- MEL next month with 900s, even though the original plan was "wait for 1000s." No pairings in PBS yet, but it's in Travelnet, so I believe it.

I was talking to a network guy (maybe top man) on a commute and he said Avalon airport over near Geelong was going to be approved as an alternate which would allow the use of the -900

That’s a good tell. When we got Canberra approved as an alternate the writing was on the wall for 777 to Sydney as there was no way the 350 could use Brisbane like we did.
