18/5/5/5

Hey guys. Seeing this posted in UAL places.

Delta proposed 18/5/5/5 raises. ~$375 for 320 ‘A’

Thoughts?

Haven’t seen this rumor yet. As much as I would like to say yes…

We need full retro and a lot more qOL things…money is only the carrot.

Trial balloon that came out last week. It’s buried in the “nonstop negotiations” thread with a lot more details of the rumored deal. It’s all false from what I hear.

Thanks. I’ll read up! Good luck to all.

Even with the rumored 6% “retro”, it’s still only barely keeping up with inflation. They are going to have to do much, much bette than that.

Wasn’t Alaska amendable for less than 18 mos? They got their signing bonus plus some small form of retro that got Captains close to 40k and FOs close to 30k? 6% puts us in that ballpark…. Now double it, minimum, since we are approaching 36 months.

Also I did some quick math about a month ago and believe our 12 year 73 A rates were about 5% ahead of theirs. Didn’t their 12 year A’s get a 14% raise DOS (and some other years/ categories up to 22%)? We are going to need to get at least 19-20% minimum to stay 5% ahead. And me being a lowly FO I am going to need at least 25% to keep up with Alaska. It’s time, the bill is past due.

My sources say no, they actually say that there isn’t even an offer of 18. Still nothing beyond the mediator required money offer from 6 weeks ago, which I hear was about 12% DOS or should I say DOA…
