Yes. It’s a formality.

Maybe, but it’s a formality we can publish. And the media can see, and the flying public is aware of.

so, you’re suggesting that our reps are taking bribes from the company? Who, exactly, are you accusing of taking these “buy offs?”

Did Lee Moak not end up with a cozy consultation firm on the same street as the number one anti-organized labor law firm? Who do you think provided the capital outlay and connections for that? Did Delta not hire the number one attorney from Ford and Harrison? This company spends exorbitant coin on managing unions. I am not saying the payout is always a trustee position in an LLC in the Caymans, maybe promise of or illusion of future "special project" positions. I am skeptical with the timing and manner in which the bases voted on this MEC chair.

To answer your question, I would not rule it out. It has already happened before.

The same street? In DC? You're reeeeeeally stretching there, sport!

Please post all the lobbying efforts Lee Moak has undertaken since his retirement.

They also hired you.

Not as much as FDX spends to keep unions off their property, but it's no secret they don't want more unions here.

Bases didn't vote. Reps voted. Mine explained their decisions. Did yours? I disagreed with my rep's vote on the MEC officers.

And what was their 'explanation'? Keeping another guy that they can count on square up to the trough?

Probably not what they said, but that is exactly what it is.
