Thank you for education. So we have a lot of time before we see the language and before a vote is made. What’s your best guess as to when the MEC will vote on a TA?

I assume the lawyers would have been working on the sections once they were AIP, so in theory, only the most recent 6-9 sections would need the language.

My guess would be 30'ish days (especially due to the holidays). Once all the sections have language, then the MEC 7 day review begins.

Wasnt the MBCBP a part of a previous LOA? I thought it was simply in the hands of treasury at this point?

Throughout this year, negotiating teams at Delta and ALPA have been hard at work under the guidance of the National Mediation Board to reach a deal on your pilot contract. This week in Raleigh, North Carolina, President Glen Hauenstein, Chief People Officer Joanne Smith, and I joined the negotiating teams for the last mediated session of this year. I’m pleased to report that we have reached an Agreement in Principle (AIP) on a new pilot contract, including Global Scope. Delta and ALPA teams will now draft the final language of a tentative agreement, which will then be subject to MEC ratification and, if approved, ratification by the Delta pilots.

I want to thank both negotiating teams and the mediators from the NMB for their efforts negotiating this agreement.

Thank you, as well, for your continued professionalism in the operation as you put safety first and take care of our customers. Stay tuned for more info as this AIP moves toward membership ratification.

It’s pretty impressive actually.

I am a little surprised. I want to see the full language before full judgement.

That doesn't look like back pay for everyone that worked during that period. If retired and dead pilots do not get paid, it is a no from me.

This will pass bigly
