Don’t feel guilty. Wasn’t your fault nor your responsibility to fix/fund.

It’s almost like they can’t grasp the realities of corporate America. They whine and cry about freedom of choice, yet when that very freedom screws them they come crying havoc. And to to top it off they call foul and shame on the company, but actively want other people who had nothing to do with it foot the bill. Hypocrisy? Entitlement? I don’t know. But certainly a fascinating aspect of human psychology

I wonder if there was a reason why it took 3 years? Huh, nope. Can’t think of anything that happened in 2020 that would make negotiating for a new contract during 2020 and 2021 problematic.
we did get retro. Everyone who worked at DL after 1/1/20 will be getting retroactive pay raises. |

If that satisfies your definition of retro pay, then good for you. Congratulations. I expected my union to do better. And you set your standards low. We were still working in 2020, and still carrying the freight. How was that any different than normal? Where is the line drawn where it is OK for DAL to tell you that you are not worthy of being paid more for your efforts... ESPECIALLY in hard times.
