required interview docs
Former AF flight engineer. Reached out to pilot selection via email and havent recieved a response. Interview requirements say to bring AF 942 Record of evaluations and Form 8 checkrides if you were flying in a military capacity. Does this mean any flying, enlisted included, or really do they just want it if flying was as a pilot. Same thing for total time on psych consent form? Do I include FE time or just pilot time? Any other way to find out sort notice. Issue with forms is they are buried in basement. I'll dig them out but rather spare headache finding them if possible.
Thanks in advance |
I’m a FE about to retire and I start next week. I didn’t add any of my FE time to anything except on my app where it can be listed. I did bring my FEF to the interview and all my EPRs. PM me if you wanna chat offline.

Psych Consent Form
On the Psych Consent Form, for "Honors" and "Leadership", is that for military service since it is right after that or is it any honors or leadership you have had through employment, service organizations, school, etc.?

Tabbing Logbooks
On the instructions for the interview docs, it says not to staple/bind/tab any of your documents. Does this mean no tabbing logbooks? I have mine tabbed for all my training events, endorsements, etc.

The interview team just doesn’t want you to tab your paperwork. They literally want it all in a big pile. It’s tough because it feels unprofessional to drop it off like this. But, it’s to make it easier for the admin folks to make copies and look at it. |
Just. Follow. The. Directions. Precisely.

For logbooks I used 6 different colored tabs and had a key in the front breaking it down. |

I tabbed my logbooks by year across the top, then on the sides tabbed key checkrides, first solo, etc. Didn't get a single question about my logbooks the interview.
I took all my tabs out that were in them from another interview. Fully clean nothing hanging out. They didn’t even ask a single question regarding my log books. I even use a log system that totals the days flight time and not each flight, so a little chance of someone asking the question of why I choose that method…but nope..just handed them back. |

It can't be said enough. The Delta interview process may be frustrating and intimidating, but a big part of it an evaluation in reading/comprehension, following directions, conformity, and being detail oriented, all qualities Delta values. Just do exactly what they tell you to do. No more, no less. Don't try to read between the lines. Oh, and also keep in mind, that you're being watched and listened to from the minute you arrive at the guard shack, until the minute you leave the property. Act accordingly. |

But I have heard they bug the Hilton. I read it on the internet so it must be true. Wait until at least two states away before being a douche again. The Widget is everywhere; all knowing and powerful. |

Don’t make it sound nefarious, every job interview is like this. Delta isn’t paying extra people to sit next to you on the park bench on campus to listen to your conversation. But if you act like a jerk in the cafeteria that may hurt your chances. Just be professional.

I agree, but you'd be amazed at the stupid stuff people say while waiting in the recruiting department lobby or in the recruitment break room and they think no one is paying attention. Has cost more than one person a CJO.

This. It would probably be unwise to show up for a Delta interview with the United or Southwest tabs that everyone knows they ask for in your logbook.

Paperwork question
Hello folks, longtime lurker with a question. I have an interview in April and have a question pertaining to the paperwork we need to bring. Specifically regarding dual citizenship.
Does anybody know if there is a 'help' email we can contact to get clarification on a paperwork question? I didn't see anything in the Invite or Date Confirmation emails, unless you count the email address they came from. Thanks in advance. |

Yes Sir. I’ve been turned down many a time by a Major so to speak and also in early 90’s was turned down by a few regionals before gettin hired eventually. But if you’ve never been turned down that’s awesome. Certainly makes life easier . I’m all for people having good success the first time trying . That’s the goal 👍

Paperwork question
Question for the tribe; the Psych Consent forms do not have enough space to type info into. There is barely enough space to enter any info and that gets cut off when printing. Did you guys fill it in by hand?
Thanks |

Then stop coming on here complaining, at this point you chose not to be here. My recollection is you also chose not to get a degree when it was required before too. I don't begrudge you your choices, but you made decisions so stop with the victim card.

Do we put all the pilot certificates besides the ATP on one page or make a copy of every single pilot certificate? Do the copies have to be in color or is black and white okay? Also, I am former Army (non-flying) and was discharged in 2007. I do have the DD214 MEMBER 4, but I don't know what Enlisted Personnel Performance Reports or Evaluations for the period of enlisted service are. It does say if applicable. Can anybody tell me if these documents are applicable to me? If so, how do I get a copy? Thanks |

As I am trying to follow the directions precisely, I noticed that for the current driver's license, it says one copy 'FRONT AND BACK' in bold. However, it does not say 'front and back' for ATP certificates, other pilot certificates, or the FCC RROP. Do we not need a copy of the back of the certificates?

Thanks As far as the document's go, if you take a normal 8.5x 11 sheet and put two big color pictures of everything front and back, (one card per sheet of paper) take a sticky note and label it COPY (even though it's obvious it's a copy but this is following the instructions to a T) you'll be set. |

For the performance reports, if I was discharged with the rank of E4 (SPC), do those reports don't apply to me? I am now reading Army's Evaluation Reporting System, but it seems like it talks about OER and NCOER. |

If you have any form of evaluation, and they're positive, I'd probably include them just to be safe. I'm sure someone else here would be much better qualified to answer this question for you. |

AH, you got me there. I was Army but my Unit had no enlisted that fell under me so I have no clue. Do you get any sort of Evals as an E-4? You don't get NCOER's?

I have already requested those documents from the archive center to see if they have any for me. Also have reached out to old military buddies about this. |
Anyone know when asking for all pilot certificates they actual mean every cert you have ie CFI/UAS/ATP etc?
